Photographer has been taking pictures of Korean traditional beliefs and cultures. Most of the Korean traditional houses are built with wood.
Trees sustain their lives for as long as hundreds of years, in a space with nature. And when they ultimately come to an end of the life cycle, they move through the space to be re-lived for another hundred of years as walls and windows of a Han-ok (Korean traditional house).
Despite the fact that trees are unable to extend their branches toward the sky, using the nutrients and the water absorbed from their roots, they still get to sustain their identity by becoming pillar of the Han-ok.
The trees bearing an existence of Han-ok may subsist in a static space, after undergoing the process of constant changes due to a movement of invisible energy (time, weather, etc). Trees come to exist as another entity through the process of change over a long period of time.
